IS THIS MYTH-REDUCING? DO PEOPLE STILL FEIGN THIS IGNORANCE?

It is a general belief that female folks are more vulnerable to social bullies because their genetic makeup does not really allow room for much agility like that of the male folk.

This is not meant to be seen in a bad light. They are not disadvantaged; they just do not possess as much physical strength as men.

This has elicited some ill treatment from the opposite gender. Funnily enough, some of them are generally sound, both mentally and intellectually.

Back in the day, our forefathers were swamped with the idea of training only male children. They saw no use in giving their female children opportunities to visit the four walls of a classroom let alone get trained to a certain level. This was sponsored by an ideology that they are more responsible, compared to the females, hence the need to grant them an academic privilege.

In addition to this, they felt the primary assignment of a lady is to manage the affairs of the kitchen alongside reproduction.

This notion had boxed women in their well of thoughts, convincing them to believe a false truth that their existence is futile.

Our duty as an organization is to create awareness and bridge this knowledge gap. Education exposes the girl child to opportunities and helps develop her skills.

With the right education, the girl child can become who she’s created to be with no fears.

Let’s educate the girl child.
