In a powerful demonstration of solidarity against gender-based violence, forher Organization actively participated in the 16 Days of Activism campaign. The 16 Days of Activism campaign is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness and inspiring action against gender-based violence. Our walk, a symbol of unity and strength, wove through the city streets, creating a visible and vocal stance against the pervasive issue of gender-based violence.
The 16 Days of Activism campaign is not only about raising awareness but also about fostering dialogue and encouraging open conversations. Just like this year’s theme, “UNITE, Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls’ , every step we took forward was a step against gender based violence.
The Mr and Miss Akwaibom Iconic Queen and King graced the occasion, bringing their influence to amplify the message. Additionally, we were honored to have the Decarez Foundation and the Balanced Ladies Network join forces with us, showcasing the collective strength when organizations unite for a common cause.
