“Empowering girls to choose a career in ICT is not just good for girls and their families, it can be a major accelerator of socio-economic development at the national level.” Brahima Sanou.
Girls’ Education goes beyond getting girls into school. It is also about ensuring that girls acquire the knowledge and skills to compete in the labor market, gain socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world, make decisions about their own lives and contribute to their communities and the world.
With technology playing a role in all kinds of careers, learning ICT skills at a young age will set girls up for economic independence and promote gender equality and balance within the ICT field.
We had seven young ladies graduate from our Fully funded Computer Appreciation Training.
Our Skills forher program is committed to ensuring girls have access to digital Education irrespective of their economic status.
